Jesus is Alive

“Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him” (Romans 6:9).

The Word of God became a human to died and be raised again. Christ the Word is alive today through the Scripture. Therefore we should turn and look unto the Word of God, who is Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2).

Jesus Christ is alive through the Holy Scripture. God talks to us today through His Word in the Bible. The Word is the beloved Son of God, whom God says, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” (Matthew 17:5).

Scripture is the voice of God. That’s why Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24).

God’s desire is that we should believe in His Word. Scripture says, “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).

Jesus Christ is alive today, not in the dead flesh, but in the Holy Bible. The Word is the real Christ, and you can find Him in the Bible. Anyone who looks into the perfect Scripture of liberty and believes in Him is doing what God says (see James 1:25).

All Scripture is the living Word of God, and He is that perfect Son of God, who is Jesus Christ the true Word of God. “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple” (Psalm 19:7).

Scripture is the Son of the only wise God. Paul wrote to Timothy saying, “And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).

Whoever looks to the Scripture and believes that He is the Christ shall be saved. The Word of God is the Saviour of our souls, as it is written: “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

Jesus Christ came to heal and deliver us from the dead and carnal way of looking at God, so that we can look to the living God through the Scripture. The Word of God is the living God, and He is the resurrection and the life (see John 11:25).

We should understand that Scripture is the Word of God who became a human, and He died and rose again into the glory of the Word. Scripture is the living and powerful Son of God, who is Christ, the Word of the living God (see Hebrews 4:12).

Whoever believes the Word is Christ is born of God, and anyone who does not believe the Word is Christ is not of God: “And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world” (1 John 4:3).

Through the flesh came death, but through the Word came the resurrection. Flesh is the dead, and Scripture is the living. That’s why Jesus says, “The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

God wants us to see ourselves dead indeed in the flesh, which is Adam the dead old man, but alive to God through the Scripture, which is Christ the living new man: “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).

An empty tomb is proof that Jesus Christ is alive today. The Word was raised from the dead flesh; and He is alive in the Bible forever. Scripture says, “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen” (Revelation 1:18).

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the victory over sickness and death, and for the hope of eternal life, through your Word, in Jesus name. Amen.
