“Search from the book of the Lord, and read: not one of these shall fail; not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them” (Isaiah 34:16).
Today, there is no better skill than the ability to advertise that someone could learn how to become rich. Most people have become billionaires directly or indirectly through advertising, and more recently through Internet-based advertising.
A good salesperson can make money out of the blue. Advertising, and by extension copywriting, is proof of the biblical maxim that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21).
The apostles and prophets of the Lord were salespersons for the Word of God. The Lord God used the apostles and prophets as His human copywriters to write the Bible.
The Bible is the Word of God in writing, which is “Christ in print.” God is the original and the greatest copywriter, and He wrote a copy of Himself in the Bible.
In the New Testament of Jesus Christ, God wants to write a copy of the Bible in our hearts by His Spirit, which is “Christ in you.” We should receive the Bible as the sure Word of prophecy which abides forever.
The invisible God spoke and gave birth to all Scriptures. They are the work of God, unmovable, unchangeable, un-removable, for they are the writing of God written with the infallible finger of God (see Exodus 31:18).
God wants us to have the true riches, which is the Word of God in our hearts, “a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys” (Luke 12:33).
Therefore, God says heaven and earth shall pass away, but the Word of God in the Holy Bible cannot pass away, because it is the Word of the eternal Spirit of God (see Matthew 24:35).
PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for the written Word of God, by which we can have the life of God and become partakers of your divine nature, in Jesus name. Amen.
